Fantasy

Genres:
Fantasy – Epic, Dark, Dystopian, Post-Apocalyptic, Military, and Urban
Quirky fact that I don’t want anyone to know:
I like to write in my pajamas. When I go on a writing bender, I won’t change out of them for weeks (except to put on clean ones).
Bio:
I grew up reading used fantasy paperbacks that my dad brought home by the bagful. My childhood summers in Vermont unfolded in a rustic 10 x 16 cabin, and with no electricity, there wasn’t much to do… besides read.
Writing as a vocation never occured to me – not until later in life after the kids were grown and a move left me with hours to fill. Years of working in business surrendered to a full-time indulgence in the imaginative world of books, and when I started, I was instantly hooked.
In addition to fantasy books, my publishing career includes participation in various anthologies featuring short stories, flash ficItion, and poetry. I’m an avid supporter of the arts in my local community, organizing and publishing anthologies of Oregon prose, poetry, and photography.
I live in a log cabin amongst the tall evergreens and emerald moss of the Coastal Range rainforest with my ever-patient husband, two owls, a horde of bats, and the occasional family of coyotes.
