Quirky fact that I don’t want anyone to know:
I once thought I saw Bigfoot, but it turned out to be an old tree stump.
Bio:
I was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan—though I did spend two years living in Ft. Myers, Florida. I began my love affair with the written word immediately upon learning to read. As a young child I would read anything I could get my hands on: books, magazines, the daily newspaper, the TV Guide, the sides of cereal boxes.
Writing began with short story assignments in third grade (age 8). In high school I wrote record and concert reviews for the school paper (readership of nearly 2500). Journalism had been my intended occupation after graduation, but those plans changed somewhere along the way.
I have published a novel, two short story collections, a novelette, and I have contributed numerous short stories to various anthologies over the years. My day job is as an editor and audio/video producer for Fresh Ink Group publishing. I co-host a weekly podcast called The Voice of Indie. Current works in progress include two novels and multiple short stories.
