A Labor of Love

The first Monday in September is Labor Day in the US, a day to pay tribute to the contributions and achievements of those people in our past who strove to make our country and the world a safer and more just place to work. We also honor those who continue to show up every day and contribute their efforts to our mutual ongoing success. Where would we be without them?

The arrival of Labor Day also symbolizes the end of summer for many Americans. It’s a day when we actually don’t labor and attempt to spend our hours relaxing and taking a deep breath.

For writers, perhaps today is a day to close the laptop and bask in a little downtime. Or maybe you’ll take advantage of the break and indulge in a little labor of love.

The authors here at Story Empire wish you a lovely day wherever you are in the world.

May your efforts always be appreciated.
